What's happening with East Kilbride's weather - your really local weather station!

These pages display the data and readings from a private weather station situated in East Kilbride, Scotland.  East Kilbride is located to the South East of Glasgow in the central belt of Scotland.  The station is on the South West edge of East Kilbride, just lower than the highest point in the town.  It is exposed to the prevailing weather, generally from the South West.

The station has been running for a couple of years now but only recently has it been supplying data regularly to the internet.

These pages are currently in devlopment and not all pages are yet active.

Weather Station Software

The station software runs on an Eeebox PC running Windows XP Home.  Virtual VP is used to allow more than one weather program to communicate with the Vantage Envoy and data logger at one time.  Start up of the station is automatic after reboots controlled by StartWatch.  VirtualVP and StartWatch are both from SoftWX and work very well.
